Conveniently located on University Ave., the Golden Key Piano School is within walking distance from the downtown Berkeley BART station. There is also plenty of street parking on University or Grant. We have pleasant studios with nice baby grand pianos in each room. Our students have the advantage of using a free practice room, based on availability.

Informal performances for different age groups will be held in our larger room on a lovely Kawai grand piano. (Please see calendar)

Our CD library, with a focus on piano music, is available for our students and teachers.

For your convenience, a music bookstore with a focus on piano music is now open in our entrance hall to distribute a wide variety of piano sheet music.

Stuido Rentals

We have studios available for rent by the hour, half-day, or whole-day. ($20/hour; $100 half-day; $200 all-day). There is a baby grand piano and CD player in each room. Studios are available for those who want to teach voice or instrumental lessons; such as guitar, violin, flute, or other, quieter instruments. Studios are also available to pianists to practice but not to piano teachers for teaching.

In addition to enjoying our school's beautiful facilities, those teachers who choose to rent a studio in our school will gain additional benefits:

	We will give you a discounted monthly rate if you teach more than 8 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
	We will put your bio and information on our school’s website and start referring students to you if you maintain a good reputation after renting for 6 months.
	Your students will have the opportunity of practicing duets with our piano students.
