About Our School
Golden Key Piano School is a privately owned music school founded in 2004. We have moved into a larger space on September 2008, but our goal is to keep the number of students limited to 150 so that we can keep our family-like atmosphere and give personalized attention to all students and teachers.

We welcome adult students, but about 90 percent of our students are between 3 and 16 years old. Our Preparatory Group Piano Classes prepare 3 to 5-year-old students for private lessons. The private lessons are for ages 5 and up: one hour, once a week. We schedule 5 to 6 lessons per day for each teacher.

We believe that music is a cultural tool and all children should have a music education. We realize that most of our students will not become professional musicians; however, they will have a life-long appreciation for music.

Why Teach With Us?
Here are reasons why music teachers choose to teach at our school over all other choices:

1 A constant flow of new students to keep schedules as full as possible.
At our school, with different ways of advertising and marketing year-round, we keep our teachers’ schedules as full as possible. We register new students for our private music lessons even during typically slower registration months. This way, there is less of a chance for a teacher to have a gap in his or her schedule.

2 Extras are taken care of. Your only responsibility is to teach.
We have full-time front desk administrators to handle all the details from scheduling to collecting tuition, arranging recitals, etc. This allows the teacher to focus on teaching and not on distracting office work.

3 Your time is respected and you are paid whether or not students show up.
Teachers are paid for lessons whether students attend or not. If a student misses classes for any reason, the teacher is still paid. If a student doesn’t pay for his or her lessons or has uncollected debt, the teacher is still paid. Our priority for our teachers is to make sure that their time is not abused and that their teaching days are as productive as possible.

4 Our method and repertoire make teaching at our school a different experience.
We give teachers training on our method, which is artistic and alive. It requires a lot of creativity from both students and teachers. Our music repertoire is absolutely beautiful. Drawn from folk music from around the world and from great composers, our unique repertoire makes it a joy to listen to even beginning students.
