| Katrin Arefy |

Katrin designed the Golden Key method and is the artistic director at Golden Key Piano School where she trains all instructors to teach using the same method.
Katrin received her bachelor and master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow. Her graduation was followed by two productive years in Iran, where she taught piano at Soure University in Tehran, as well as pedagogy classes to piano teachers at their request. Her articles and lectures on Russian methods were published in Iran, which is one of the country’s biggest newspapers. She translated Artobolevskaya’s First Meet with the Music and Neuhaus’ The Art of Piano Playing from Russian to Farsi. She also holds a Bachelor of Art in painting from Azad University in Tehran.
After moving to America, Katrin began arranging folk songs for piano, incorporating the Russian approach of teaching, and developed a method and curriculum in Golden Key Piano School.
She is a member of Music Teachers Association of California. Her very first students are now professional pianists graduating from some of the best music universities in Austria and Armenia.

She studied at the J.
Gruodis Conservatory. She received her Bachelor's
degree in Music Instruction at the Lithuanian National
Academy of Music in Kaunas and her Master's Degree
in Pedagogy from the Academy of Lithuania. After
10 years of teaching music in Europe, she moved
to US and has been teaching at Golden Key Piano
School since 2005. She is a member of the Music
Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) and performs as an accompanist in bay area. Her gentle yet energetic approach supports her students
with their achievements.

| Diana Aidos |

Diana Aidos graduated from Kazakh National Conservatory of Music and received her Master's in Piano Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. While at KNCM, she worked as a graduate assistant, teaching private undergraduate piano lessons, accompanied students and performed with the orchestras. In addition to numerous solo recitals, master-class performances and chamber concerts, Diana has won several competitions, awards and scholarships. She has taught in exchange program throughout Kazakhstan, Japan and China. She also works as a freelance chamber musician and accompanist in the Bay Area.
